Alimento Bueno

MFL_Restaurant_1On Friday 17 June, Ms McCreadie, Ms Richardson and 16 of the Year 10 Spanish GCSE group battled through the rain to go to “El Patio”, a Spanish tapas restaurant in Bromley.  We had a real feast and ate a selection of tapas, including paella, albondigas, pan de ajo and croquetas.  We ate it ‘Spanish style’ with small plates, sharing it all together.  Afterwards, the charm of the students led a customer in the restaurant to buy everyone a special Spanish ice cream!

“I really enjoyed the Spanish restaurant El Patio.  It was fun trying different Spanish foods and talking to the staff in Spanish.  I learnt more about Spanish food/culture and really hope we have more trips like this.”  Naimah

“It was amazing, the best trip ever.  The food was really good at the restaurant.  I learnt more about Spanish culture and I even met a millionaire!  Marcin

“The food was banging.  The paella was really nice.  I wanted to eat the whole pot because the chicken and sauce was delicious”. Radcliffe

Congratulations to the students for their excellent behaviour and open mindedness in trying new food as well as speaking in Spanish.  Next time we hope to go and try Mexican food! – İAdiós!
