Lewisham Live Voices

The audience consisted of parents, the public and other schools, including 11 other primary and secondary school choirs and singing groups.

They performed amazingly well and really showed what great talent we have at Conisborough College with a beautiful rendition of ‘Use Somebody’ by Pixie Lott and ‘Wherever You Will Go’ by Charlene Soraia. 

Despite their nerves and the size of the audience, they really showed their professionalism and true musicianship, displaying confidence to the audience and singing brilliantly. 

I cannot count the number of compliments I have had about their voices, including from Peter Evans, the Head of Lewisham Music Service, who took the time to e-mail me saying, “You have some beautiful voices in that group”.

The students and I are extremely excited to have been invited back to perform at the next concert and look forward to choosing and working on some new songs together, making them even better than the last.

Well done to all the students involved, you have made me a very proud Music director.
