On Friday 11 March a group of students went on a school trip to ‘The Big Bang’ Science competition to join hundreds of other schools at the Excel centre in London.

On Friday 11 March a group of students went on a school trip to ‘The Big Bang’ Science competition to join hundreds of other schools at the Excel centre in London.

The students split into groups and had a look at all the interesting stalls, some of which were really exciting, with experiments that you could do.

Some of the students attended the BAE system demonstration and learned about the UK’s first unmanned aircraft.

They also participated in the TV show ‘Bang Goes The Theory’.

All in all it was a great trip and the students went away with a goody bag of memory sticks, pens, posters, puzzles and badges as well as learning new things.
