Célébrer Langues
The Autumn term has been a very busy and successful one for the Modern Foreign Languages department.
An exciting new project has meant that Miss Richardson has been teaching French at Elfrida Primary School to their Year 5 and 6 students and Spanish to all of Key Stage 2 at Rushey Green Primary School.

So far, this has been happening on a weekly basis and they have been learning how to introduce themselves and their families, talk about what they are good at and learning a bit about French and Spanish culture.
Miss Richardson has been very impressed with the politeness, intelligence and enthusiasm of all the students and is really looking forward to continuing these lessons after Christmas.
It was great to see so many of the Year 6 students from these schools at our open mornings and evening too.
we hope to continue the great links between our schools and invite student ambassadors to team-teach with Miss Richardson over the next two terms.
