The Parent Council, Glitz & Glam, Chritmas Party!

The Conisborough College Parent Council topped off an award winning year with a Glitz and Glamour night to round off their activities in 2011.

On Friday 9 December, the school hall was turned into a winter wonderland with colour and sparkle to set the mood.  The evening was opened by our Parent Council Chair and Parent Governor, Donald Connolly. 

The evening included a dance performance by Forest Hill Boys and Tae Kwon Do Performance from ‘Panther Tae Kwon Do Black Belt Academy’.

There was a ‘mouth watering’ array of foods to satisfy the hungry revelers who danced the night away to the music provided by  Tyrone Higgins,  mixing and blending tunes for everyone to get their ‘party on’.

The prize for best dressed adults went to Donna and Lisa and the best dressed children went to Finlay and Lenny.  Raffle prizes were won by Mr Rowe and Ms Robinson, who both won Christmas cakes.  Other raffle prizes were won by, Ms Kidd-Smith and Harry Wright.

Parent Council member; Donna Ruby said: “It was wonderful to see everyone taking part and enjoying themselves”.

This has been an amazing year for the Parent Council whose efforts to support the school community in its quest for excellence, has won them the Lewisham Pupil Ambassadors: ‘Working Together Award’. 

The Parent Council would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and we look forward to seeing even more parents in 2012.
