On Wednesday 1 July, sixteen Year 8 and Year 9 students had the pleasure of meeting one of the Premierships top Footballers.

NugsyNyron Nosworthy took time out of his busy schedule to come and engage with some of our young, up and coming football talent that we have here at Conisborough College.

Nyron, also known as childhood nickname ‘Nuggsy’  is a Jamaican footballer, born in Brixton. He began his career as a trainee at Gillingham and is currently playing as a defender for Sunderland in the Premier League.

Nyron was able to give quality and invaluable information on how to become a Professional Footballer. He even had time at the end to share a special moment with the students by having a photo with them.

I would like to thank all the students who took part and commend them on there good behaviour throughout the entire session.
