Science Boffins
At the end of June 2010, Year 8 and 9 students had a special assembly from the ‘Science Boffins’. They saw experiments involving disappearing cups and water. They also learnt about different scientific processes.
This assembly was then followed up with Science workshops for the Gifted and Talented students where they made their own slime and learnt about conduction of electricity by using plasma balls and fluorescent tubes.
All the students involved really enjoyed the day.
