The Modern Foreign Languages department have had a very exciting Summer term as they invited Year 5 students from Torridon Junior School, Sandhurst Junior School and Rushey Green Primary School into Conisborough College to experience taster lessons in French, Spanish and Italian.

The Modern Foreign Languages department have had a very exciting Summer term as they invited Year 5 students from Torridon Junior School, Sandhurst Junior School and Rushey Green Primary School into Conisborough College to experience taster lessons in French, Spanish and Italian.
They were taught songs such as ‘Sur le pont’Avignon’ and dialogues.
They have also been learning the alphabet with sign language and dialogue for a special evening showcase of talent for the Year 5 parents on Thursday 15 July.
The reaction so far has been very positive, quotes from young students have included:
“I wish I could stay at this school forever”
“I love learning French”
The MFL department and students ambassadors are very excited to be working with these primary schools and are looking forward to seeing lots of students from these schools starting with us here at Conisborough College in September 2011.
